Glamping Baby Shower (what is glamping?... Glamorous Camping at its finest)!  What better location for this rustic, elegant baby shower theme for Holly Humphreys Reyes then her own childhood back yard at The Humphreys Estate!  Planning this shower was a dream and so much fun!  The combination of rustic elements and elegance incorporating burlap and bling, tulle and tiaras, made for one fabulous baby shower (just look at the pictures)!

The setting:

The beautiful Humphreys Estate where guests drove up to the driveway adorned with pink and lime- green hanging lanterns and a pink carpet grand entrance where guests could stop to take pictures at our rustic photo booth (a hanging frame from a tree) and we have to say we did have fabulous props to choose from.

  The invitation:

We ordered the invitation from Anders Ruff http://shop.andersruff.com/glam-camping-girl-glamping-birthday-party-invitation  (One of our favorite of all go to website & blogs, forever and ever that’s how much we love them)!

The décor:

Handmade burlap pennants and garlands of strips of tulle, pink and lime green fabric hung from trees with mini hanging chandeliers.  Burlap and lace table runners with centerpieces of birch wood containers and mason jars wrapped in twine and rhinestone accents filled with pink larkspur, Esperance roses and green grass balls.  The cake table had a tulle tutu skirt (hand made by Holly herself) and was the perfect accent for their fabulous tree stump cake made by Monique of Crazy Cakes by Design  http://www.crazycakesbydesign.com/index.html

The Menu:

Mini Angus Beef Burgers with Tillamook Cheddar, Hot dogs, fresh berries served in martini glasses, and of course campfire beans.

Favors:

We made S’mores and trail mix in little to go treat bags (thank you Anders & Ruff for the fabulous labels)

We also set up a Pop Corn station since Holly was “Ready to Pop”.  One of our favorite moments was when one big sister told her little brothers to try that one (it was the jalapeno flavor)… Oh the look on their sweet innocent faces when the heat hit em!

It was a perfect baby shower (if we don’t say so ourselves) and so much fun was had by all.  We can’t wait for this little one’s first birthday party coming in October 2013; stay tuned…
